Voting Requirements
To vote in McMinn County, you must:

• be 18 years old
• be a U.S. Citizen
• be a resident of McMinn County
• not have been convicted of a felony without rights having been restored according to law

If you will be 18 before the next election, then you may register to vote prior to your birthday.
You may obtain a voter registration application at any of the following locations:

• Department of Human Services
• Public Libraries
• Department of Motor Vehicles
• Health Department
• Armed Forces Recruiting Offices
• McMinn County Clerk
• McMinn County register of Deeds
• County High Schools 

Registration Deadlines
Registration closes 30 days prior to any election. All new registration applications must be received by the office or postmarked on or before the date to be eligible to vote in the election.
